　　那是在大西北生活的日子，一次我們要到遠(yuǎn)方去進(jìn)行作業(yè)，全隊(duì)的人一起出發(fā)要穿過(guò)大戈壁，沒(méi)有汽車，沒(méi)有道路，把我們送到那里去的只有幾十峰駱駝。于是，就在一個(gè)陰晦的日子，一隊(duì)長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)的駱駝，無(wú)聲無(wú)息地走進(jìn)了荒漠。沒(méi)有一株樹(shù)木，也沒(méi)有一簇野草，整整走了一天，也沒(méi)有見(jiàn)到一個(gè)人影，就這樣默默地走著，我們吃在駝背上，喝在駝背上，擺擺晃晃，我們還睡在駝背上。

　　走啊，走啊，從早晨走到中午，又從中午走到黃昏，坐在駱駝背上的.人們已經(jīng)疲憊不堪了，而只有駱駝還在一步一步地走著，沒(méi)有一點(diǎn)躁動(dòng)，沒(méi)有一點(diǎn)厭倦，就是那樣走著，默默地忍受著命運(yùn)為它們安排的一切……
