過(guò)了一段時(shí)間，精衛(wèi)下水去玩。三太子見(jiàn)了，心里暗喜，心想：“我報(bào)仇的日子終于來(lái)了”。于是他就把精衛(wèi)淹死了。精衛(wèi)死后，變成了一只小鳥(niǎo)。從此，她每天都去西山叼回些石子、木塊，丟到東海里。她不想再讓去東海的人們被淹死。
這就是著名的《精衛(wèi)填�！返纳裨捁适�。
