Every place has different customs and customs during the Spring Festival, and we have unique customs there. For example, the annual pig is one of them.

Whenever the Chinese New Year, every family decorated, everywhere is filled with the joy of the holiday, then have a big pig kill, to celebrate the festival, the day morning, the little brother home to burn a lot of water, ready to kill pig, really have girding kill pigs and sheep posture, all the preparatory work done, by the butcher in the lead, bought a hook pig's ear of hook, together with three or four adults to pigsty, a moment later, she heard from the pigsty a hearing crack shrieks, see a butcher put hooks in a pig's ear, another uncle with countries tackled the pig tail, a few people on the side force to pig out of the pigsty. The pig that know about die will face, is dying, four big pig feet forward against hard, refused to come forward to half a step, mouth screaming, attracted many of the villagers the sidelines, and a few adults wrests finally, the big pig lift on the bench, butcher is steep turn at this moment, suddenly, he rapidly, the sharp knife To the pig's neck and she stabbed down, bright red pig blood spouted flow inside the big basin is already prepared. Despite the bleeding, but the pig still unwilling to lose so easily life, it use the final effort, try very hard to kick, our eyes are bad to ruthlessly hate the butcher until blood dry, leg also not move on, never close the eyes, in such a scenario, I suddenly understood the meaning of "effects".

The next step is to soak the pig in boiling water, then remove the hair, clean up, cut down the stomach, and clean the internal organs until the last thing you care about -- the annual pork. The noisy villagers are talking about the weight of the big fat pig after the killing. Some say must be more than one hundred and fifty jin, some say must be more than one hundred and eighty jin, uncle or the butcher well informed, he said: the pig says there are two hundred and fifty, 60 kg less, different opinions, after all the clean up, everyone together to pigs onto the scale, according to two hundred and seventy-six jins, was unexpected.

I looked on to see the scene of the pig killing, thinking, probably now people's living standard has been improved, the pig also has abundant drink, so the feed is heavy and heavy.

As night fell, "pa", "pa, pa, pa," accompanied by festive firecrackers, a beautiful flame rose in the air, and people welcomed the New Year in the laughter.

春節(jié)英語(yǔ)作文 篇3

Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It is sometimes called the "Lunar New Year" by English speakers. The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first month (Chinese: 正月; pinyin: zhēng yuè) in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th; this day is called Lantern Festival. Chinese New Year's Eve is known as chú xī. It literally means "Year-pass Eve".

Chinese New Year is the longest and most important festivity in the Lunar Calendar. The origin of Chinese New Year is itself centuries old and gains significance because of several myths and traditions. Ancient Chinese New Year is a reflection on how the people behaved and what they believed in the most.

Celebrated in areas with large populations of ethnic Chinese, Chinese New Year is considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had influence on the new year celebrations of its geographic neighbors, as well as cultures with whom the Chinese have had extensive interaction. These include Koreans (Seollal), Tibetans and Bhutanese (Losar), Mongolians (Tsagaan Sar), Vietnamese (T?t), and formerly the Japanese before 1873 (Oshogatsu). Outside of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, Chinese New Year is also celebrated in countries with significant Han Chinese populations, such as Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. In countries such as Australia, Canada and the United States, although Chinese New Year is not an official holiday, many ethnic Chinese hold large celebrations and Australia Post, Canada Post, and the US Postal Service issues New Year's themed stamps.

Within China, regional customs and traditions concerning the celebration of the Chinese new year vary widely. People will pour out their money to buy presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. It is also the tradition that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in hopes to make way for good incoming luck. Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “happiness”, “wealth”, and “l(fā)ongevity”. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper is a feast with families. Food will include such items as pigs, ducks, chicken and sweet delicacies. The family will end the night with firecrackers. Early the next morning, children will greet their parents by wishing them a healthy and happy new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes. The Chinese New Year tradition is a great way to reconcile forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wish peace and happiness for everyone.

Although the Chinese calendar traditionally does not use continuously numbered years, outside China its years are often numbered from the reign of Huangdi. But at least three different years numbered 1 are now used by various scholars, making the year 20xx "Chinese Year" 4707, 4706, or 4646.
