高中英語(yǔ)作文：走出迷霧

　　John has lived in London for afew years, but he isn't so familiar with that city, because he seldom goes out.One foggy morning, he had to go somewhere to attend an important meeting.

　　Because of the heavy fog, he was unable to get the right way.

　　Although he askedmany people for the direction, no one paid attention to him, for they were allin a hurry.

　　He looked so anxious. At this very moment, a woman came out of thefog and said, “Let me help you, Sir.

　　Please go with me." John followed thewoman, and then she led him to the right place.

　　It took them about half anhour. John owed his great thanks to her. However, to his great surprise, hefound that the woman was blind.

　　“How can you take me here?" John asked. “Ihave been living in London since I was born, so I'm very familiar with everystreet in this city." the woman answered.

　　約翰在倫敦住了幾年，但他對(duì)那個(gè)城市并不是很熟悉，因?yàn)樗�很少出門(mén)。

　　在一個(gè)有霧的早晨，他要去參加一個(gè)重要會(huì)議。由于霧太大，他無(wú)法找到正確的方向。雖然他向很多人問(wèn)方向，沒(méi)有人注意到他，因?yàn)樗麄兌荚谮s時(shí)間。

　　他看上去很著急。在這個(gè)非常時(shí)刻，一個(gè)女人從大霧中走出來(lái)對(duì)他說(shuō)，“先生，我來(lái)幫助你吧。請(qǐng)跟我走吧�！�

　　約翰跟著她，之后她帶他帶到正確的地方。他們大約花了半個(gè)小時(shí)。約翰非常感謝她。

　　然而，令他吃驚的是，他發(fā)現(xiàn)那個(gè)女人是盲人。“你是怎么能帶我到這里來(lái)？”約翰問(wèn)�！拔覐某錾�開(kāi)始就一直生活在倫敦，所以我非常熟悉這個(gè)城市的每一條街道�！迸�人回答說(shuō)。
