People celebrate the holiday according to their beliefs and their religious denominations （命名）. Christians commemorate Good Friday as the day that Jesus Christ died and Easter Sunday as the day that He was resurrected （復(fù)活）. Protestant settlers brought the custom of a sunrise service, a religious gathering at dawn, to the United States. On Easter Sunday children wake up to find that the Easter Bunny has left them baskets of candy. He has also hidden the eggs that they decorated earlier that week. Children hunt for the eggs all around the house. Neighborhoods and organizations hold Easter egg hunts, and the child who finds the most eggs wins a prize. The Easter Bunny is a rabbit-spirit. Long ago, he was called the Easter Hare. Hares and rabbits have frequent multiple births so they became a symbol of fertility. The custom of an Easter egg hunt began because children believed that hares laid eggs in the grass. The Romans believed that All life comes from an egg. Christians consider eggs to be the seed of life and so they are symbolic of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

從前，我不喜歡英語甚至厭惡英語，但從三年級開始，也就是從信老師教我們班英語課，我就漸漸喜歡上了英語，發(fā)現(xiàn)英語是一門很有趣的課程。
以前學(xué)英語最怕記單詞，從來都是死記硬背，但是信老師能夠用各種各樣的方法讓我們記住每個單詞。比如“strong”念“死壯”，意思是強(qiáng)壯，信老師為了讓我們記住它，說：“這個人‘死’都要強(qiáng) ‘壯’，能不強(qiáng)壯嗎？所以‘強(qiáng)壯’用英語念做‘死狀’”。雖然引來我們一陣大笑，但“strong”這個單詞被我們永遠(yuǎn)的.記住了。
在學(xué)習(xí)“but”這個單詞時，信老師先在黑板上復(fù)習(xí)以前學(xué)過的單詞“bus”，帶領(lǐng)同學(xué)們念一遍，然后將“bus”中的“s”改為“t”，讓同學(xué)們自己試著讀，同學(xué)們很快就讀出了正確讀音，同樣深深記 在腦海中。
信老師這種玩中帶學(xué)，學(xué)中帶玩的獨特教育方法令我們班的英語成績直線上升，幾乎次次考試都位居年級第一，這更令我們“士氣大增”，對英語課尤為喜愛。
